Who this policy covers

This policy describes the handling of personal information in connection with the Trust storefront, purchases, and communications with us. Trust is operated by Trust Customer Services. References to Trust, we, us, and our mean Trust Customer Services. You can contact us at info@trustelectro.com. It applies to visitors and customers; separate notices may apply to services operated by payment providers, delivery partners, or manufacturers.

The information involved depends on the features you use. Browsing a product, saving a wishlist, placing an order, and requesting assistance do not all require the same information.

Information involved in your visit

When you provide information through an available service, it may include the following:

  • Contact and delivery details, such as your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and PIN code.
  • Order information, including products, quantities, payment status, transaction references, invoices, and return requests.
  • Information you choose to send in messages, feedback, reviews, or photographs of a product issue.
  • Technical information associated with serving the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request times, and error logs.
  • Shopping preferences saved in your browser, including cart contents and wishlist selections.

How information is used

Information supplied for a purchase or a service request is used to respond to that request, fulfil the order, arrange delivery or installation, handle payment reconciliation, and manage returns or warranties. Contact details may also be used for essential updates about that transaction.

Technical information helps operate and troubleshoot the storefront, protect it from misuse, and maintain service reliability. Records may also be needed for accounting, tax requirements, fraud prevention, and resolving disputes. Marketing messages, where offered, are separate from essential order communications.

Cookies and browser storage

The storefront uses local storage in your browser to remember your shopping cart and wishlist between visits. These entries are called trust-cart-v1 and trust-wish-v1. Clearing site data removes these saved selections from that browser; it does not cancel an order or erase records held separately for a completed transaction.

You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking storage may prevent saved shopping features from working. Embedded or externally hosted resources, including the Google Fonts used to display this website, receive the technical information necessary for your browser to request those resources. Their providers apply their own privacy policies.

When information is shared

Fulfilling a request can require sharing relevant information with service providers, such as payment processors, couriers, installation teams, hosting providers, and customer-support services. For example, a courier needs the recipient’s address and contact details, while a manufacturer may need the product serial number and proof of purchase for a warranty claim.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or to investigate fraud and protect customers and services. In the event of a business transfer, relevant records may transfer subject to applicable legal requirements. Personal information should not be posted in public reviews or other public areas of the website.

Payment information

Only enter payment credentials in the designated payment flow of the provider handling your transaction. The provider’s terms and privacy notice explain its handling of card, bank, UPI, and authentication information. A payment reference or payment status may be needed to reconcile your order or refund.

Do not include passwords, card security codes, UPI PINs, or one-time passwords in customer-support messages. A delivery or refund query does not require you to disclose those credentials.

Retention and security

The appropriate retention period depends on why information was collected. Order and invoice records may need to be retained for tax, accounting, warranty, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes even after a request to delete an account. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised, subject to these obligations.

Access controls and other reasonable safeguards help protect information, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device and account credentials secure, and report suspected misuse by emailing info@trustelectro.com.

Your choices and requests

You may ask about the personal information associated with your transactions, request correction of inaccurate details, or request deletion where retention is not required. Where processing relies on consent, you may ask to withdraw it. Requests are handled subject to the law applicable at the time and reasonable verification of identity.

To make a request, email info@trustelectro.com, describe the action you want, and provide only the information needed to identify the relevant record. If you receive marketing emails, use the unsubscribe option in that message. Essential transaction updates may still be needed to fulfil an existing order.

Children and external services

The shopping service is intended for adults who can enter into a purchase agreement. A parent or guardian should supervise any use by a child and contact the business if they believe a child’s personal information has been supplied inappropriately.

External providers may process information in locations outside your state or country. Their handling of information is governed by their notices and applicable transfer requirements. Links to other websites do not make their information practices part of this policy.

Changes and privacy questions

This page may be updated as the storefront and its services change. The revision date identifies the latest version. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, that requirement applies separately from publishing an updated policy.

For a privacy question or complaint relating to a transaction, email info@trustelectro.com and identify it as a privacy request. Keep a copy of your correspondence for follow-up.
